About Laura
| Hi, My name is Laura and I have recently graduated from university in England after studying biology and maths for 3 years.
Having looked after 4 children at the weekends for 2 years I am very familiar helping out with primary school homework. During my time at school I found maths and biology extremely easy and I therefore I had time to help out friends who were struggling and to whom the subjects did not come as naturally. I found that I was able to break things down into a process of simple steps, and was very organised in the way I taught. As I have very recently graduated with from university I would also be confident in teaching degree level maths and biology as well as at the primary and high school levels. I am very friendly and approachable person and extremely patient in the way I teach. During my time at school and univeristy I mainly worked in the hospitality trade and as a legal clerk for a law firm. Outside of work and studying I like to spend time with friends and family, enjoy travelling, making clothes and have recently discovered a new hobby when visiting New Zealand, snowboarding! I would love to pass on my knowledge I have gained over the past 10 years of study to someone who is in need of a little help or is struggling with their studies, whether that be, children, teenagers or adults. |
