About Ruth
I am a 20 year old second year student at Swinburne University, studying a Bachelor of Commerce(International Business)/Bachelor of Arts(Japanese) at the Hawthorn campus. I have been studying Japanese since 2003, and have been to Japan twice, most recently was 2009, when I spent 5 months on exchange at a high school, during which time I lived with a host family.

I have had no experience with tutoring, but was lucky to have an incredible teacher throughout high school and know how simple and fun learning Japanese can be. I am also the oldest of 4, so have experience with younger children and how they best learn.

I am bright, cheerful and love to have a laugh, and have spent most of my adolescence working in hospitality jobs, so I am great with people. I learn quickly and am eager to be able to help others do the same.
