| Why do I choose to tutor students??
- I am a secondary teacher and every semester I witness students pass through their classes with unused potential. - Majority of students do not feel comfortable seeking extra help from their classroom teachers, however, do want to learn the topics they don't understand. - My experience has showed me that with a little extra one on one teaching, can not only lift understanding, knowledge and grades - but most importantly...confidence! So I want to extend my teaching knowledge and skills to students other than my own! My passion for teaching is evident throughout all areas of my life. I have been a committed leader in church youthgroups, disability support organisations, counselling, overseas missions to Africa teaching and much more. I have been recognised with a degree in Secondary Teaching and a Degree in Psychology, with components of Mathematics. My undergraduate training took place at one of Melbourne's top Universities and it was here that I received high grades. Currently I am a Secondary Teacher at a Private School in Melbourne's Eastern Suburbs, teaching Mathematics and Psychology from year 9 to VCE.
