About Kate
My name is Katie Richardson and I have been tutoring Secondary School and Primary School Students for over 4 years, recently I began VCE tutoring. I am a 2008 School Leaver, who graduated from Presbyterian Ladies' College with an ENTER score of 94.95, and am currently obtaining my double degree in Psychology(Applied Science) and Social Work at RMIT. Although I have a great love of Humanities (English, History, Art), I have found that my patient, focused, and understanding disposition can be applied across a range of subjects in which I can tutor.

I am currently tutoring two girls in years 9 and 11 in a range of subjects, however am very eager to start more work in Primary School tutoring. Aside from a complete passion for children (and an extensive history of nannying and child care), I have a complete desire to see all children reach their full academic potential. I also understand that this means different things for different children, and that every person needs the right environment, encouragement and guidance to grow and realize their gifts. Previous and current families I have tutored for have said that my work ethic and my ability to make all learning fun and accessible for their kids whilst providing the right support and encouragement, has seen remarkable improvement in their children's self-efficacy, self-esteem, and abilities.

I really would love the opportunity to get to know your child and become a part of their academic and personal growth.
