About Kylie
I am a head of department at an independent school, with a proven track record of success with my students, both in my classroom and my tutored students. It sounds a bit over the top, but I work on the assumption that if you're going to employ a tutor, then they have to know what they're doing, that you're not going to be wasting time and money. I have marked for the VCAA at VCE level, so I know what works in an exam response. I'm also interested in expanding students beyond the expected in the Context section of the course, and have taught three out of the four that are offered as part of VCE (the only one being 'Imaginative Landscape' but not a problem if you're studying that one!). Overall, I'm flexible, approachable and do love my job, something that I'd like to pass on - it is possible to get through VCE and still love the subject!
