| I am an enthusiastic, friendly, qualified Primary School teacher of ten years. I offer personalized tuition in various highschool/VCE subjects and all Primary School subjects from Grade Prep to Grade Six. I have had extensive training in teaching English, Mathematics, Science, Integrated Studies, Computing, Social Skills and more. I can improve your child’s reading and comprehension and expand on your child’s writing skills and spelling ability. I can assist your child to better understand all mathematical concepts. I can also support Year 3 and 5 students with NAPLAN preparation. I utilise a variety of teaching aides, such as worksheets, online activities, concrete materials and I provide my own readers. I am able to consolidate topics your child learns in the classroom and I am happy to communicate with your child’s teacher if need be. My experience, professionalism and ability to make learning fun can improve your child’s education. With my tutoring and teaching experience I have seen the benefits of home tutoring. It can assist children who are below to catch up, as well as extend an average student and excel a high achiever. I have a 2011 Victorian Institute of Teaching card, which means I am a fully registered teacher and have a current Working With Children Police Check. My educational achievements are a Bachelor Of Arts Degree with a major in Psychology and a Diploma of Education. |
