My experience includes developing, implementing and planning curriculum and lesson plans, extensive practical classroom teaching and designing and conducting examinations and on-going evaluation of students’ knowledge. Throughout my employment in Korea, China, Kuwait, Qatar and Turkey I have dedicated myself to establishing a secure and supportive learning environment, responding to the individual needs of students and encouraging them to reach their full potential. My creative use of available resources and ability to provide challenging learning experiences has enabled me to achieve excellent results with students at all levels and in all age groups. A committed, diligent and hard-working person, my employment experience includes a number of years working with the University of Queensland, dealing on a daily basis with persons from diverse cultural backgrounds, as colleagues, customers and external service providers. I feel my experience and qualifications, together with a committed, patient and courteous approach, make me ideally suited to continuing to develop my career as an English language teacher in any location. As a service provider I possess an ability to relate to a broad cross-section of people, respond to a variety of situations with tact and diplomacy, and at all times provide a high standard of customer service. I consider that these skills demonstrate a strong background in planning, coordination and organization, and that my ability to rapidly develop a rapport with others is reflected in the level of success I have achieved, and the positive feedback I have received.
