About Sandra
| My name is Sandra, and I am a Tutor who is motivated by, dedicated to and passionate about inspiring children, young people and adults to excel at their academic endevours. I am reliable, hard-working and committed to personal and professional excellence.
I am trained and experienced in assessing and understanding the unique academic situation of each student, and am skilled in developing an individualised plan that best fits their needs. Further, I have extensive experience in providing customised, one-on-one and group tutoring to students from a wide variety of backgrounds and with a large range of academic abilities and challenges. What sets me apart from other tutors is my background in Social Work, which allows me to build strong rapport with each student I tutor and to encourage and motivate them to achieve their very best. I believe that having a positive, inspiring relationship with each student is the key to my tutoring success! My areas of specialty include: - Developing students' Essay Writing Skills (particularly in terms of structure); - Enhancing students' English skills (with a strong focus on spelling and grammar); and - Sharpening students' Analytical skills.
