About Shaheen
I graduated from VCE with a TER of 99.80 (2008). I am currently studying Medicine at UNSW and I have been tutoring VCE students for almost two years now. Throughout VCE I was all around Melbourne meeting teachers, VCE examiners, professors and students from some of the most prestigious colleges in Victoria. It was a great experience meeting all of them and learning from them. I developed great strength in Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry though Physics remains to be my main area of interest as I have developed the most experience in it. I always tried to be independent during VCE, which allows me understand how to help the students and help them develop in-depth understanding of VCE Physics and Chemistry and easy ways of learning Specialist Maths and Mathematical Methods. I have been through multiple VCE textbooks for each subject - Heinnamen, Jacarnda and Essentials - and I have also gone through past exams going back to 1996 until 2008. I strongly believe that I can provide great insight into the VCE exam type questions and how the exams work. As we progress I will emphasis on the points that the examiners usually look for and help build a structured way of answering questions. Above all I will primarily focus on providing a firm understanding of the theory so that the students can work out any problem on their own.

Also, for students' interest: I am preparing detailed notes for VCE Physics that will address every point required for the VCAA exams as much as possible. It will be mainly theory based to reinforce all the concepts in the course and the students can constantly read through it to built a firm understanding before the exams.

Note: My availability will vary in the next month (September), I will be available after school times and more.
