About Ryan
| I am currently studying Mathematics at RMIT University, and love doing anything to do with Maths. I am considering a possible career in tutoring/teaching, so I am willing to do extra work in order for my students to achieve better results. I am quite flexible with hours, and am quite happy to go out of the way to see my students every week. The first few lessons will be about getting to know the student(s), and their level of maths along with their goal on what they would like to achieve. I generally spend a minute or two talking to the student about what they last did in class, or how they went on their last test etc. Year 7-10 students I strongly recommend. However, having completed the highest (specialist maths) in year 12, I am able, and have taught year 11 maths at a good level.
My best achievements are in the Mathematics Competition, where in year 10 and year 12, I scored a High Distinction. Both years I happened to get the 2nd highest score in my year level at Glen Waverley S.C, placing me in the top 0.5% of students in australia for both years. |
