| I believe in explaining complex concepts in straightforward ways, and that students need to talk after listening.
Students relate better and their interest is higher when practical examples are given and they can directly relate to the example given, where possible. A hands-on approach in certain subjects involves the students and offers them control. I also believe that self-check is of the utmost importance and improves the realtionshipwith the tutor/teacher. I prefer to offer a slightly longer lesson than cut short an important concept, and use homework as extensively as possible. |
