About Jiannis
| After studying at Carey Baptist Grammar School from 1999, being enriched with a diverse ethnic background with my Greek heritage and Australian citizenship and sense of belonging, I believe I am a perfect fit for the mentoring role.
My enthusiasm for the role is demonstrated in the various roles I have fulfilled during my time at Carey, including Debating Captain 2011 (involving mentoring Middle School junior debaters), Community Service Captain 2011, House Captain 2008 and Founder and Editor-in-Chief of Carey's student newsletter, 'Hear the Voice'. Furthermore, I was the recipient of the prestigious Monash Prize 2010 at Carey, being awarded as the "top academic student" in both Year 11 and in Year 12, when my award was extended to "best all-rounder". My studies in the VCE have been extremely stimulating, enabling me to further my passion and talents. It is my sincere hope and intention that I will be able to extend my excitement and fire for learning to other VCE students in the mentoring role.
