About Brendan
I am currently finalising my Bachelor of Arts at Melbourne and Victoria Universities. During my degree, I was selected to create a computer program for first year students to assist them in essay composition. I was also selected to take part in the Parliamentary Internship Program which is run by the State Parliamentary Library and in conjunction with the Universities of Melbourne, Monash and Victoria. I was interned with the State Member for Gembrook, Tammy Lobato, and I received a High Distinction of 84%. My essays have been selected on several occasions by my lecturers to be used as a demonstration to new students of what is required to achieve high results.

My knowledge of history and political science is extensive and I am passionate about learning and teaching. I have a great capacity to explain and contextualise knowledge and next year I will be undertaking a Diploma of Education at Melbourne University so that I will be able to pursue a career in teaching. Most importantly, I have an understanding of exactly what VCE teachers are assessing when marking exams and why they place particular emphasis on certain elements of the curriculum.
